Ward; her son Shawn Ali Carson of Brooklyn, NY; her brother Mark Cogle (Ernestine) of San Antonio, TX; her daughters, Selene Ward of Brooklyn, NY, Jeri Ward-Cummings (Kevin) of East Orange and NJ; her nephews, Steven Cogle of Brooklyn, NY, Marlon Kareem of San Antonio, TX and Omar Cogle of San Antonio, TX; her grandchildren, Shardei Lewis, Breanna Cummings and Kasia Cummings; and her great grandchild Kushoun Birch.
