He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Rice and Bertha Rice; and his son-in-law Ronald Mize, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Linda Rouse Rice; his daughters, Susan Rice Mize of Leesburg, GA and Pam Rice Foss (Ashley) of Grifton; his grandchildren, Lauren Mize Bozeman (Derek), Hunter Coleman Mize, Hannah Gray Mize, Kaylin Elizabeth Foss (Shane) and Dylan Michael Foss; his great grandchildren, Kennedy Paige Bozeman and Everleigh Faith Critzer; his siblings, Louise Joyner of Hookerton and Ira Rice of Hookerton; and his pet Bailee. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
