It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty L. Boyd of Grifton, North Carolina, who passed away on December 31, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Tingle and Fannie Boyette Tingle; and her husband Jefferson Boyd. She is survived by: her children, Wendy Pope (John) of Kinston and Jeffery Boyd (Lisa) of Ayden; her grandchildren, Andrew Pope (Dani), Kendal Pope (Karastan), Ashton Boyd and Ambraly Boyd; and her great grandchildren, Karter and Emilee Pope.
