We are sad to announce that on December 26, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Willie Elwood Strickland of Greenville, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Ellie and Hilda Parks of Virginia; and his brother Leon Earl Strickland. He is survived by: his wife Donna Daughtry Strickland; his children, Scott Strickland (Lynette) of Greenville and Dawn S. Fall (Craig) of Smithfield; his brothers, Jack Strickland of Kinston and Durwood Strickland (Faye) of Princeton; his grandchildren, Ashlyn Meade, Rebecca Speer and Lauren Fall; his stepgrandchildren, Kaleb Brown, Zoe Gisinski and Eva Gisinski; and his great grandchild Letti Speer.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

“To Donna, Scott, and the rest of the family. Willie was a kind neighbor and dear friend. I will truly miss him. He and I would enjoy talking with one another as I would walk my dogs and find him outside with Storm. It saddened me as his health declined and our conversations became few and far between. I look forward to having conversations with him in Jehovah's righteous new system where things such as sickness and death will be done away with. This promise can be read of at Revelation 21: 3&4.”
