He was predeceased by: his parents, William Reading and Lucille Reading; and his daughter Angela Smith. He is survived by: his wife Tish Reading; his children, Shawn Christopher Reading (Rebecca) of Greenville and Amy Nicole Fishbaugh (David); his grandchildren, Kristina Smith, Trey Smith, Brianna Webb, Mitchell Christopher Reading, Matthew Shawn Reading, Dakota Joyce Reading and Michael Adam Nicoll; his sister Joanne Reading Stancil (William) of Greenville; and also Tondra Davenport. He is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews.
