He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Elijah Mills and Letha Mae Phelps; his sister Magdalene Jones; and his former wife Marie Mills. He is survived by: his wife Eileen Gauthier; his sisters, Frances Mills of Greenville, NC and Eunice Walker of Little Washington, NC.; his children, Terry Harris (Stephen Harris) of Greenville, Steve Padgett and Jeff Padgett of Greenville; and his daughters-in-law, Charlene and Karen. He is also survived by her two children, their spouses, and three grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Red Oak Christian Church, 1827 Greenville Blvd. SW, Greenville, NC 27858.
