It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma J. Carlisle of Greenville, North Carolina, who passed away on September 3, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Rawls and Mamie Rawls; her sister Mildred Pierce of Chesapeake, Virginia.; her former husband James P. Johnson of Chesapeake; and her husband Harvey Carlisle of Chesapeake, Virginia..

She is survived by: her son Dr. Kenneth A. Robol (Anne M. Robol) of Greenville; her grandchildren, Alex, Zac Robol of Clayton and Jackson Robol of Greenville; her siblings, Tina Willoughby of Indianapolis and Robert Rawls of Jacksonville; and her daughter Anita Pierce of Atlantic Beach, Florida.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
