It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Griffin Henderson (Greenville, North Carolina), born in Bethel, North Carolina, who passed away on January 22, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her sisters, Helen G. Manning of Danville, VA and Faye G. Adams of Greenville; her children, Barry Henderson of Greenville and Kristy Kozuki of Urbandale, IA; her grandchildren, Alex Henderson, Kethry Kozuki, James T. Kozuki and Kailynn Kozuki of Linden, IA; and her great grandchildren, Gavin, Daisy, Mia, Logan, Wynona, Lily and Leia. She is also survived by children, whether they were grandbabies or nieces and nephews.
With this in mind, in lieu of flowers, her family requests that any memorial contributions be made to the Syngap Research Fund.
