He was predeceased by: his parents, Scott Buck and Rose Hardee Buck; his wives, Mary Lou Clarke Buck and Ann Hudson Buck; his daughter Karen Buck James; and his brothers, Bobby and Melvin.
He is survived by: his daughter Joni Buck Worthington (Wayne) of Raleigh; his stepdaughters, Lynn Hudson of Greenville, Carla Hudson of Greenville and Lisa Hudson (Jackson Chow) of Alpharetta, GA; his grandchildren, Al Worthington (Amy), Mary Clarke Worthington, Hudson Chow (Dianna), Taylor Chow (Mallory), Cole Lewis and Rachael Ross (Sammy); his great grandchild Nathanial Ross; and his sisters, Shirley Hardee of Greenville and Polly Harris of Wilmington.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial gifts be made to the Black Jack FWB Church Building Fund, 2972 Black Jack-Simpson Rd., Greenville, NC 27858, or to the charity of one's choice.
