He is survived by: his children, Leavy Morris Vicars of Winterville and Leigh Ann Vicars Attoun of Rhode Island; his grandchildren, Austin Vicars, Evan Vicars, Olivia D'Andrea, Kaden Attoun and Gracelyn Cobb; and his brother Dr. Thomas M. Vicars, Jr. of Morehead City.
