She was predeceased by: her son Michael Glenn; her mother Collins White, Sr. of Roxboro; and her siblings, Collins White, Jr. of Roxboro, Mary Frances Edwards of Virginia and Barbara "Bobbie" Ann.

She is survived by: her husband Hubert Glenn Layton; her daughter Katrina Hinson (James Hinson) of Stephenville, TX; her grandchildren, Brittany Elaine Hinson (William Thomas) of Ohio, Jourdan Kelley Hinson (Faith Steward Hinson) of Greenville, NC, Connor Shea and Noah Jayden Hinson of Stephenville, TX; her great grandchildren, Aidan Michael, Isaac Lee Hinson and Ava Lilly of Greenville, NC.; and her brother Jerry White.
