He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall D. Welch and Ella Amelia Herrick Welch; and his brothers, Freeman Welch and Roddy Welch. He is survived by: his wife Luanne Welch; his children, La Rita Johnson (Doug) of Ayden, NC, Sandra Smith (Greg) of Wonder Lake, IL, Greg Welch of Memphis, TN, Kent Welch (Candy) of Wonder Lake, IL and Cory Welch (Hazel) of Lombard, IL; his grandchildren, Scott Johnson, Ryan Johnson, Karlie Starling (Michael), Brandon Yocum, Kyle Yocum (Alyssa), Marshall Welch, Dylan Welch, Jordan Welch (Ruby), Alyx Martinez (AJ) and Chase Welch; and his great grandchildren, Coraline, Brantley, Micah and Mira.
