Speight of Winterville and Chandra Speight (Aaron Griggs) of New Bern; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Haley, Lowell A., Andrew and Anna; his nephews, Joseph and John; and his niece Rachel.

“I am in shock. Just sang in the choir with Lowell last Sunday and again Sunday afternoon for Ed Adams funeral. Lowell sang "How Great Thou Art" for Ed. They were such good friends.
