Reid; her adoptive son Cedric Reid; her siblings, Geneva Richardon of Cleveland, OH and James Monroe of Rowland, NC; her son-in-law Billy Walls; her siblings-in-law, Eliza Watson, Mabel Jones of Surry, VA, Reuben Reid (Paige) of Landover, MD, George Reid (Dollie), Roger Reid of Hampton, VA, Marquette Edge of Paterson, NJ and Henry Moore of Greensboro, NC; and her close friend Ervin Streeter.
She is survived by: her daughter Charetta Walls; her granddaughters, Billie N. Walls of Raleigh, NC and Crystal Swain of Greenville, NC; her siblings, Gladys Edge of Paterson, NJ, Alberta Monroe of Paterson, NJ, Willa M. Godley of Greensboro, NC, LouCilla Moore of Greensboro, NC, Dr. Joseph Monroe (Sallie) of Greensboro, NC and Dallas Monroe (Eleanor) of Marion, SC; and her siblings-in-law, Louise Monroe of Rowland, NC, Martha Works, Maggie Reid of Hampton, VA, Edith DeLoatch of Portsmouth, VA and Garland Reid (Jacinta) of Mitchellville, MD. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
