He is survived by: his wife Libby Latham Embler; his daughters, Geri Embler of Jacksonville, Rebekah Embler of Port Hueneme, CA and Victoria Embler of Burlington; his stepsons, Jason Modlin of Jacksonville and Chris Modlin (Stephanie) of Holly Ridge; his grandchildren, Madeline Knarr, Blake, Logan, Raegen Modlin and Ember Ballard; his mother Betty Sue Embler of Greensboro; and his sister Debbie Shamshoun of Cleveland, OH..
