She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi S. Kitchen and Leona Moon Kitchen; her husband John Bembenick; her brother Richard Kitchen; and her grandson-in-law Roger Peaden.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Bembenick of Blounts Creek, Loann Bridges (Darrell) of Walstonburg, Gregory Bembenick (Penny) of Swan Quarter and Joseph Bembenick (Patti) of Rocky Point; her grandchildren, Zebulun Frantz, Zachary Frantz (Marcie), Christopher Bembenick, Owen Bridges (Tracy), Amanda Peaden and Shyanne Paszt; and her brother John Kitchen of Michigan. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
