It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Nicholas Berardi (Greenville, North Carolina), born in Cortland, New York, who passed away on January 1, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughters, Dena, Debra and Denise Berardi; his parents, Nicholas Berardi and Elisa Fabrizio (Sciaruto); his stepfather Menotti Fabrizio; and his sister Maryann Murphy (Berardi).
He is survived by: his wife Irene Berardi (Sinclair); his children, Matthew Berardi of Cortland, NY, Marc Berardi of Halfmoon, NY, Elizabeth Berardi of McGraw, NY, Amanda Gendron of Snow Hill, NC and Nicole Scism (Greg) of Greenville, NC; and his aunt Frances Sciaruto. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
