With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Richard Davis of Greenville, North Carolina, born in Danville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 16, 2021 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Davis and Anna Margaret Davis Braddy; and his stepfather James Braddy. He is survived by: his brother Billy Davis of Greenville; his cousin Bob Southerlan of Cookeville, TN; his close friend Sandy Steele; and his pet Tater Bug.

Memorial contributions may be made to Pitt County.
