He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Harris and Helen Harris; and his siblings, Doris McLawhorn, Bruton and Harry Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Harris; his children, Deborah Parker (Richard) of Grifton and Gray Harris of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Jodie Berry (John) and Casey Parker (Amber); his great grandchildren, Mason, McCray Parker, Conner, Holden and Chase Berry; and his brother Roger Harris (Joyce).
