Thompson (Sawyer), Wade Hawkins (Jennifer), Erica Morris (Jeremy) and Jamie Hawkins; her siblings, Evelyn Fillingame of Vanceboro, Sue Roddy of Kinston and Alonza Shirley of Hookerton; and her sisters-in-law, Mae Shirley of Ayden, Gracie Smith of Vanceboro, Nancy Shirley of Ayden and Betty Jo Fillingame of Vanceboro. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
