She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Perry and Mary Perry; and her husband Glenn Cox. She is survived by: her sons, Jay Cox (Bunny) of Pactolus and Perry Cox (Debra) of Apex; her grandchildren, Ashely Hurdle (Alex), Leigh Faranec (Andrew), Taylor Ratledge (Dave), McCall Hewell (Eric) and Lauren Chu (Alex); her great grandchildren, Charlie and Henry Hurdle; and her siblings, Joyce Herring, Mary Ann Wussow, Curtis Perry, Jr. and James Perry.
Due to health concerns with Covid-19, the family has decided to have a private graveside in Pinewood Memorial Park officiated by Rev. Asher Panton.
