He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Davis and Ada Harris Davis; his wife Jean Davis; his son Jeffery Davis; and his sisters, Doris Tripp and Edna Peaden.

He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Davis Hoskins and Travis Wayne Davis; and his siblings, Clarence Davis, Nina Norris, Sue Morris and Linda Green. He is also survived by two grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren.
