She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin K. Porter; and her parents, Mourossie Laughinghouse and Inez Stokes Robinson. She is survived by: her son William M. "Billy" Porter; her granddaughter Alyson Riddick (Shane); and her sisters-in-law, Mary P. Leggett of Greenville and Patsy Porter of Greenville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
