She was predeceased by: her parents, James Beard and Vera Beard; and her sister Joy Sandifer. She is survived by: her husband David Holland of Washington; her daughters, Susan Mailey (Ted) of Hudson, OH and Tricia D. Woods of Wilson; her grandchildren, Katie Mailey and Bonne Pogorelc (Ben); her great grandchildren, Emmett, Ezra and Greg Mailey; her grandson Jake Woods; her siblings, J. T. Beard (Laura), Rita Shearin (Tim) and Suzie Elliott (Bob); her stepdaughter Jana Watkins (Brian); her stepgrandson Cole; and her stepchild Louie Holland. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
