He is survived by: his son Leon Vinson, Jr. of Goldsboro, NC; his aunts and uncles, Brenda Vinson Walker, Denise Dixon, Margaret Dixon Diggs, Benjamin Waverly Walker, Norman Dixon and William Dixon; his cousin Christopher Vinson; his grandsons, Elijah Leon Vinson of Goldsboro, NC and Leon "Josiah" Vinson of Goldsboro, NC; his siblings, Reginald Dixon of Dudley, NC and Vickie Dixon Hyman (Billy) of Wilson, NC.; his nieces and nephews, Amber Baldwin of Greensboro, NC, Janiyah Dixon of Phoenix, AZ., Reginald Dixon, Jr. of Phoenix, AZ and Juvon Ferguson of Goldsboro, NC.; and his aunts and uncles, Mavis Fuller of LaGrange, NC, Helen Carraway of Dudley, NC, Emma Jean Johnson (Greg) of Atlanta, GA., Marie Lewis of Pensacola, FL, Freddie Vinson, Jr. (Catherine), James Dixon (Marilyn) of Iselin, NJ and Bobby Dixon (Shelby) of Goldsboro, NC.
