He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Gladys Seymour and Vonnie Jackson Seymour; his siblings, James Lewis Seymour, Charles Edward Seymour, Ralph Berkley Seymour, Latha Seymour Jones and Alberta "Faye" Seymour; and his brothers-in-law, J. A. Jones, Billy Britt and James Barrow.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Barrett Seymour; his children, Al Seymour (Elizabeth) of Advance, Vickie Boyette of Goldsboro, Tammy Bunn (Duane) of Pikeville and Jessica Brintle (Jacob) of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Brittany Dublin (DiAndre), Jake Bunn (Chelsea), Ryan Bunn (Lydia), Cody Bunn, Matthew Boyette and Estelle Brintle; his great grandchildren, Wyatt Bunn, Jase Bunn, Brooklyn Dublin and Ayden Bunn; his sisters, Viola Seymour Britt and Iola Seymour Barrow; and his sister-in-law Donna Deaver Seymour.
