Rosa Grayson Stroupe Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosa Grayson Stroupe of Gastonia, North Carolina, born in York, South Carolina, who passed away on November 3, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Crown Grayson and Vera Hicks Grayson; her close friend Betty Seay; her husband William "Lamar" Stroupe; and her siblings, Dick, Kelly and Terry Grayson.
She is survived by: her children, Beau Stroupe of Charlotte, NC and Jette Stroupe of Gastonia; her siblings, Johnny Grayson (Linda) of Clover, SC, Harold Grayson (Shirley) of Clover, SC and Lazette Grayson of Clover, SC; her grandchildren, Abigail Blythe Wennerstrom (Phillip) of Nashville, TN, Zachary David Stroupe (Abbi Wilt-Stroupe) of Portland, OR, Elizabeth Hope Wigston (Dallas) of Toronto and Noah Benjamin Stroupe (Sarynn) of Columbia, TN; her great grandchildren, Ezra Isaiah Wennerstrom, Josiah David Wennerstrom, Lux Noelle Stroupe and Franklin Parker Wigston; and her close friends, Martha Wilson and Sarah Ellis. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Woodside Cemetery (298 Guinn St, Clover, SC 29710).
