He is survived by: his children, Jason Spurrier (Carrie Tate), Noelle Agnew and Ashley Helms (Jeffrey); his grandchildren, Ryatt Agnew, Jake Spurrier, Declan Spurrier and Lane Moore; and his siblings, David Spurrier (Katie), Dan Spurrier, Bill Spurrier (Ann), Chuck Wilson, Jay Cocker (Ruth), Steve Spurrier, Roxie Spurrier and Suzann Brady. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association or to the American Cancer Society.
