Itson; and her son Pitts.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pauline Elliott of Kings Mountain, Belinda Bender of Laurel, Melissa Pagan (Paul) of Winston-Salem and Armanda L. Itson of Gastonia; her siblings, William Bender of Paulding, Mississippi, Ola Mae Tatum, Mildred Mae Carmichael of Laurel and Lou Bertha Bender of Charlotte; and her close friend Earnest Smith. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
