She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry O. Ray and Daisy Sexton Ray; her husband Richard Terry; her siblings, Geraldine Ray and Richard Ray; and her son-in-law David Lawson.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Lawson of Gastonia, Danny Huffstetler (Lori) of Gastonia, Kimberly Mayo of Cherryville, Richard "Rich" W. Terry (Jana) of Morganton and Beth Yelton (Mike) of Gastonia; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Ray. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Union Presbyterian Church (5615 Union Rd, Gastonia, NC 28056). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 2101 Rexford Rd #165W, Charlotte, NC 28211.
