She was predeceased by: her husband Wannie Lester; her parents, Iris Bumgarner (Dugan) and Ada Bumgarner; her siblings, Faye Fortenberry, Eleene Powers and Paul Bumgarner; and her nephew Gary Fortenberry.
She is survived by: her children, David Wayne Lester Casteel and Teleena Stadther; her son-in-law Lee Stadther; her grandsons, Derek Stadther and Dillon Stadther (Morgan); her great grandchild Scottie; and her sister-in-law Jean Bumgarner.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hardin Baptist Community Church (548 Hardin Rd, Dallas, NC 28034). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Hardin Community Baptist Church Building Fund.
