Young of Emporia, Hattie H. Vaughan (Larry) of Emporia, Laura Rooks Clayton (Marion Ivan) of Gaston and Leonard Moody of Roanoke Rapids; his aunts and uncles, Pearline Rooks of Emporia, Virginia, Argie Banks of Emporia, Virginia, Ollie Hicks of Emporia, Virginia, Dorothy Hicks of Emporia, Virginia, Howard Hicks of Emporia, Hubert Hicks of Emporia, Robert Hicks of Emporia, John Hicks of Emporia and Waverly Hicks (Emma) of Mesa, Arizona; and his nephew Rufus Banks. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
