He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Henry Woodruff and Lucille Hargrave Woodruff; and his siblings, Thurman Woodruff, Sr., Medie Merritt, Jean Hargrove and Johnnie Sue Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Cook Woodruff; his son Lenn Reece Woodruff, Jr. (Teri); his brother Glenn Woodruff (Priscilla); and his stepgrandson Michael Clarke. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
