It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie L. Ruffin of Garner, North Carolina, who passed away on January 17, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his daughters, Gwendolyn K. Johnson (Ronnie) of Garner, Patricia A. Chrisp of Garner and Denise R. Thomas of Garner; his sister Shirley "Sally" Northe of Fayetteville; and his grandchildren, Shalon Maxile (Kenneth), Chiffonda Holloway (Golet), Melinda Dunn (Reginald), Eddie Ruffin, Adrienne Chrisp and Joshua Ruffin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
