It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Douglas Valton Hinton of Garner, North Carolina, who passed away on December 18, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mallie V. Hinton and Alice B. Hinton; and his sister Alicia Batton. He is survived by: his wife Ann; his children, Kevin D. Hinton (Jennifer) of Willow Spring, Judy Diedrich (Carl) of Bloomington, MN, Lydia Saunders of Faribault, MN, Brenda Wall of Garner, Kristy Griffin (Dale) of Newport, NC and Anthony McLeod (Carol) of Willow Spring; and his brother Clark Hinton (Mavis) of Macon.
