It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Simon Lee Allred of Franklinville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 23, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred Hogan Allred; his children, Gail Allred Holdaway and Simon Lee Allred, Jr.; his parents, Arris Allred and Lillie Florence Britt Allred; and his siblings, Dewey, Eula Mae, Glenn, Clarence, Winfred, Florence, Millard and Doris.
He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Allred Anderson (Ricky) of Randleman and Wanda Allred Dawkins (Lloyd, Jr.) of Randleman; his sister Joyce Mainor of Thomasville; his grandchildren, Amanda Canham (Charles) of Sophia, Joshua Marsh of Level Cross, Jeremy Dawkins (Amanda) of Randleman, Jacob Holdaway (Amber) of Asheboro, Reed Holdaway (Patricia) of Asheboro, Rylee Holdaway of Asheboro and Chance Holdaway of Asheboro; and his great grandchildren, Sadie, Connor Marsh, Kristopher Deaton, Jamison Canham, Keaton Holdaway and Adilyn Holdaway.
