It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman Gardner of Fountain, North Carolina, who passed away on December 25, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Norman Gardner to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce T. Gardner; his daughter Lillian Purvis; his grandson Kevin Purvis; his siblings, Lillian, Preston, Adrian and Edna; his parents, Robert A. Gardner and Anna B. Gardner; his niece Beth Leggett; and his nephew John Turner.
He is survived by: his children, Chuck Gardner, Anna G. Sides and Lida E. Gardner; his grandsons, Robert and Mark Sides; his great grandchild Kyle Purvis; his nieces and nephews, Jo Pardue, Adrianne Lesko, Chip Turner and Ralph Leggett; and his cousin Aileen Higgins.
Due to Covid, there will be a private family graveside service.
