He was predeceased by: his parents, Flay Mack Chapman and Betty Faye Blanton Chapman; and his son Tim Chapman. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Wasilewski Chapman; his children, Gregory Scott Chapman of Bostic, NC, Amber Joy Powell of Caroleen, NC and Ariel Lynn Powell of South Carolina; and his sister Glenda Sandefur (Ricky) of Middlesex, NC. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren.
