It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Oma Riley (Elon, North Carolina), born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on April 29, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse L. Sam Riley; her parents, Johnnie Green Holt and Maud McAdams Holt; her son L. Ruaine Riley; and her sisters, Bertha Holt and Margaret Holt Riley.
She is survived by: her daughter Marca Riley Councilman (Bruce) of Graham; her grandchildren, Christal Councilman and Kelly LaTour (Bobby); and her great grandchildren, Caleb LaTour, Micah LaTour, Trinity LaTour and Zion LaTour. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In light of the recent restrictions due to the Coronavirus, a private graveside service will be conducted at Alamance Memorial Park.
