He is survived by: his siblings, Tony Bowers (Tammy) of State Road, Robert Bowers (Ann) of State Road, Jack Bowers (Jo Ellen) of Edenton and Hazel Smiley (Russell) of State Road; and his niece Geneva Pardue (Mike) of State Road. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
