He is survived by: his wife Sandra Cann; his children, Jordan M. Cann of California, Andrew Cann of Alabama, Shawn Knight of New Jersey, Latrice Cann of New Jersey and Sequoya Cann of Greensboro, NC; and his sister Clarice Hamer of New York. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
