He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Atkinson and Mable Atkinson; his son Ryan Scott Atkinson; and his brothers, Wayne and Stanley Atkinson.
He is survived by: his daughter Catherine Atkinson of White Lake; his granddaughters, Aubrey and Annie Guidry of Marco Island, FL; his sister Kathy Atkinson of White Lake; his sister-in-law Carol Atkinson of Brandon, MS; his nephew Eric Atkinson (Donna) of Raleigh, NC; and his niece Krista Barnhart (Brent) of Hernando, MS.. He is also survived by His son, nephew and many friends.
