He was predeceased by: his parents, John Raynor and Alice Parrish Raynor; his brothers, Roy, Dan, Bill and J. C.; and his siblings-in-law, Doug Faires, Banks Cline, Sue and Ann.

He is survived by: his wife Becky Raynor; his children, Zack Raynor of Elizabethtown, Dewey "Drew" Raynor Jr. of Asheville and Carrie Raynor of Elizabethtown; and his sister Faye Cline of Salisbury. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Bladen We Care or the Bladen Crisis Center.
