It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clifton May Sr. (Efland, North Carolina), born in Burlington, North Carolina, who passed away on April 28, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clifton Vastine "Jack" May and Dorothy Lucille "Lucy" Coleman May; his sister Shelby Jean Lloyd (James); his children, Carol Deniese Chaney (Edward L.) of Efland, Clifton Carl May, Jr. (Janice) of Holly Springs, Frances Elizabeth Carroll (William "Bo") of Mebane and Donna May Stelzenmuller (Alan) of Durham; his wife Margariette Farrell May; and his sister Dorothy Marie Efland. He was also cherished by 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
The COVID-19 pandemic has forced restrictions on group gatherings for now.
