She was predeceased by: her father Guilford Hicks; and her stepfather Harold Summey, Sr.. She is survived by: her mother Barbara Summey; and her siblings, Laura Hicks, Karen Davis (Frank), Harold Summey, Jr. (Christy), Jeffrey Summey (Melissa), Robert Hicks (Sabrina) and John Hicks (Michelle).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to North Durham Baptist Church in honor of Terry Bennett.
