With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Alan Liertz (Durham, North Carolina), born in Racine, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 8, 2024 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Floyd Liertz and Dorothy Jung Liertz; and his brothers, Tod Liertz and Scott Liertz. He is survived by: his wife Linda Liertz; his children, Jane Liertz and John Liertz; his grandchild Aliyah Jones; and his siblings, Keith Liertz, Larry Liertz, Linda Kowalsky-Ellis, Gale Prough and Kim Skylar.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be given to the Durham County ASPCA.
