He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Shackelford and Inez Shackelford; his sister Carolyn Boser; and his daughter Diana Mueller. He is survived by: his wife Frances; his daughters, Cathy Jones, Beverly Taylor (John) and Ellen Chancey (Larry); his son-in-law Ralf Mueller; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Taylor (Luke), Jason Jones (Gemma), Chris Lewis, Elizabeth Bell (Jimmy), David Mueller, Analise Taylor, Sam Chancey (Ember), Miriam Chancey, Rebekah Chancey, Leah Chancey and Gideon Chancey. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
