She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Bright Nash and Vivian Holleman Nash; her husband Billy M. Parrish; and her siblings, Bernard Nash (Billy) and Linda Bailey.
She is survived by: her sisters, Ellen Perry and Ruth Keith (Pat) of Durham; her daughters, Donna Mouritzen (Arthur) of Arizona, Crystal Whicker (Dennis) of Durham and Jessica Jones (Wesley) of Durham; her grandchildren, Alyssa, Olivia and Chase; and her caregivers, Beverly Lowery, Rachel Jacobs, Lisa McGee and Lauren Wilkins.
