It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Brady Veasey of Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on July 26, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Edward Brady and Dorothy Turlington Brady; her husband Jimmy Veasey; and her brother Bobby Brady. She is survived by: her children, Marcus Veasey (Donna) and Tessa Veasey Cook (Jill); her grandchildren, Madison, Maxwell, Elijah and Taylor; and her siblings, Brenda Barbee and Jody Brady.
