He was predeceased by: his parents, Telpher Johnson and Millie Parker Johnson; his wife Wilma Jeanette Johnson; and his siblings, Jarmon, John B., Charlie Johnson, Irene Poole, Willadean Peacock and Nellie Capps.
He is survived by: his children, Kerry Johnson (Pam) of Dunn, Tracy Johnson (Sarah) of Benson, Cindy Jackson (Dan) of Dunn and Wendy Johnson of Dunn; his grandchildren, Brandon Johnson (Holly), Brooke Tart (Charles Jr.), Britany Barbour (DeVan), Dana Jernigan (Michael), Nathan Jackson, Reid Johnson (Alex), Mia Alvarez (Pete), Brittany Dennis (Jeremy) and Jessie Garcia; his great grandchildren, Brayden, Lilly, Ellie Johnson, Lainey Kate, Van Barbour, Charli Brooke, Karsyn Lynn Tart, Jackson Jernigan, Blair Jackson, Lettie Ruth, Sophie Alvarez, Lena, Lane Johnson, Ryleigh Whitley, Leighton and Jack Dennis; and his siblings-in-law, Glenwood Dunn (Debbie) of Dunn, Jo Johnson of Dunn and Donna Barefoot of Dunn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
